This beautiful 18th century building has been completely renovated by Jean-Pierre Xiradakis who owns the Tupina and many high quality establishments in Bordeaux. Having visited thousands of hotel rooms, from zero to five stars, from youth hostels to the most luxurious palaces in Europe, we can truly say that La Maison Fredon defies all classification. The hotel oozes Xiradakis' creativity, curiosity and openness. It would be pompous to say that this hotel is tastefully decorated ('define good taste'). This guestroom in Bordeaux is simply unique: the exhibits, furnishings and decor create a delightful mix of the very best which can be found in the greatest museums of design of the world, allied to lashings of the fantasy, audacity and perhaps even slight madness  of the talented and generous Jean-Pierre Xiradakis.
