It could take hours to explain what Château Coutet is, the motivation of this family who for centuries have been cultivating the land without fertilizers or treatment to produce a traditional organic wine; this production is of course entirely respectful of its environment, the land's capacity, its performance, needs and  ecology. Luckily, there are still such vineyards and this is very fortunate because they are a living memory of how to work the land.

A professional geologist by training, Adrien manages the domaine with his uncle Alain; he knows every corner of this land and will show you the Roman remains, rare plants and animal species which thrive here. Do visit the Château and its 400 years of wine history; it is undoubtedly the most beautiful, liveliest, most natural, most human vineyard in Saint-Emilion; in fact, it is one of the few to have voluntarily decided to leave 25% of its area to the trees to ensure biodiversity.
